How Mally Mall Is Stealing Everyone's Spotlight

Most people know Jamal “Mally Mall” Rashid as a multi-talented record producer and occasional cast member on VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood. The number of A-list artists his team at Mally Mall Music and Future Music has helped produce reads like a laundry list of A-listers: Drake, Tyga, Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, The Game, Usher, Rick Ross and more.

But producing was just the beginning. Mally has also been showing the world his own polished rapping skills and his YouTube videos have been garnering millions of hits. Check out the video for Wake Up In It, featuring Tyga, Sean Kingston, French Montana and Pusha T:

Mally also has a distinct style in his personal life. An avid lover and owner of exotic animals, Mally is the one who gifted Justin Bieber with a pet Capuchin monkey a couple of years ago. Bieber famously had to abandon the monkey – named “OG Mally” – in Germany after it was confiscated by the government because the singer could not produce proper documentation. The Capuchin was eventually placed in a German zoo.

OG made a big comeback last month, in spirit anyway, at the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber. The talent on the dais took numerous shots at Bieber for his short-lived relationship with the Capuchin.

Here are a couple of the best monkey-related jabs:

And who do we have to thank for all of this perverse pleasure? Mally Mall, of course. Without his generous gift, the show would have been far less entertaining.

According to TMZ, Mally isn’t done giving unusual gifts to Bieber — the latest being the feline pictured below for the singer’s 21st birthday.

Our guess is that one day this cat will be stealing the spotlight at another show — and we’re sure Mally will be responsible for many, many more surprises.
